Fall is one of these bittersweet times. This year, I would really like to lean into the “sweet” side, in preference to the “bitter,” so I actually have determined to recognize gratitude. As I appear out my window at that tree and its empty branches, I am considering all the incredible items my miniature lawn gave me this year.
