A Gardening Course for Everyone

Listen Later

Do you enjoy working with plants? Do you have a green thumb, or do your plants (indoor or outdoor) just die for no apparent reason (hint: there’s always a reason)? If you want to learn more and improve your chances of success, you might want to consider taking the self-paced on-line course from the UW Extension, Department of Horticulture course “Growing and Caring for Plants in Wisconsin:

FOUNDATIONS IN GARDENING”. Course Moderator, Amy Freidig, talks about the course, who might want to take it — a science-based class to learn about soils, botany, pest management, and more. A recommended learning tool open to anyone, whether you just want to help your growing success or are considering the “Master Gardener Program” certification. Registration is Early Bird July 16-August 11, 2025; Regular August 12-28, 2025, or until the student limit is reached, and there is a fee for the course.
