When I experience fatigue and overwhelm, the best way to care for myself is to settle into my body. I do this by connecting with my energy and letting go of thoughts and energy that is not mine. It is a process that over time has become a practice for me.Sometimes I can settle into connection with myself by doing things that naturally give me joy.
When this isn’t possible, allowing my body to rest is the next best thing.Body resting is a form of body listening.Body resting is a practice of noticing the thoughts and energy I am unnecessarily carrying with me.
When I acknowledge what I can let go of, there is a pathway to feeling and sensing that leads to a release and letting go. This is anchored in my body’s language.
