David grew up in a dysfunctional home. 

His mom was neglecting him and abusing him. 

In this episode, David and I talked about how abusive parents can affect your life starting from childhood to adulthood. 

We have discussed how important it is to be able to speak up and understand the magnitude of the effect of the abuse and how we can navigate better and survive through it all. 

David has shared some of the tools that worked for him to overcome the adversity he had to endure and a gift that came from it. 

His message is powerful and he said: "You are not alone."
