I am not responsible for how you feel you are not responsible for how I feel Positive outlook- Positive response Negative outlook negative response I remember reading "The four agreements" there was a story of a woman who had a glass star beautifully made and she had a friend and she asked him to take responsibility for the star. The man took the star and cared for it like it was his own. He took it out to clean one day and dropped the star into millions of small pieces. He cleaned up the pieces and brought back the star to his friend. He handed her the bag with the pieces. She states "Whats this"? Oh this is your star, I took it out to clean and it slipped from my hands onto the tile floor and shattered into a million pieces. "What am I supposed to do with this" she bawked. He looked at her and with sad eyes stated "I am truly sorry, however if you expected it to come back to you in one perfect piece then you shouldn't have given it to me".  The moral of this story? is you are responsible for your feelings. If you do not want others to have control over you and how you feel. Don't give them the responsibly of managing your emotions.  Stay in your frame, tell your own story, manage your own stars!
