Welcome to another episode of Sabine's Common Sense! Remember if you don't have any, you can always use mine!
Some of you may or may not have heard about Lexis Jones Mason (A.J. Johnson's widow), who called out the late comedian's FANBASE, referring to them as "fake" for not donating to the GofundMe page that she set up for assistance with his funeral costs. Lexis told TMZ , “Y’all Say Y’all Love Him. Where Is The Love? We’re Raising Money Because I Have To Pay For This All Out Of Pocket.” There's no argument that planning a funeral, even with just the basic necessities, can be really expensive- but who is truly responsible for ensuring there is enough funds to cover the costs in a situation like this?
When it comes to your legacy, you (and possibly your partner) are the one who is responsible for ensuring that there is proper legacy plan in place that not only dictates what should be passed down or where you would want to be buried, but also a plan that protects your family, and outlines how certain expenses will be paid for in the event of your death or incapacity.
Make sure you join me tonight at 7 pm EST/5 pm PST live to hear more about this unfortunate circumstance and how you can prevent this from happening to your loved ones. You won't want to miss this!
Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe! Do you have a legacy plan in place? If so, when's the last time it's been updated? If not, what's holding you back?
