Leviticus 1:1-17

Sadly, for most Christians, Leviticus is an unknown and unopened book which is a tragic mistake because this book is fundamental to understanding our life in Christ. It’s fundamental to understanding our holy God and His great gospel. The key question that hangs over the entire book of Leviticus is this—“How does a holy God dwell in the midst of an unholy people?” Starting Leviticus 1, we see the way for God and sinners to be reconciled is through sacrifices offered for sins. This truth is what ultimately makes Leviticus a good news invitation for sinners.
