We are living in unprecedented times… but we serve a God who is not unhinged because of it. In a world that is divided, we are the opportunity for unity. In a world that is compromised, we are to be pure. In a world that is powerless, we have access to the supernatural. In a world that is suffering we have the call to persevere. God grants us these things and I expound on it briefly here from Acts 4-5.

Formed, Filled, Then in Front — In Acts 3–4, Peter stands before crowds, religious leaders, and intense opposition with remarkable boldness. But before he was ever in front of people, he was formed by God’s Word and filled with God’s Spirit. In this episode, we explore how Jesus remains the center of the story, how the gospel is about restoration, and why God is far more concerned with what He is doing in us before He does something through us. The pattern of the early church is clear: formed by Scripture, filled with the Spirit, and sent in the name of Jesus. If we want lasting influence, we must first be transformed by His presence.

Episode 122: He Was There the Whole Time

In this episode, we walk the road to Emmaus with the disciples as they wrestle with confusion, doubt, and the tension between what they believed and what they were experiencing. On their way back to ordinary life, Jesus meets them—but they don’t recognize Him. In the middle of their questions, retreat, and fractured theology, He draws near, walks with them, and patiently brings clarity.

As the Scriptures unfold, so do their hearts—until they finally see Him for who He is and say, “Did not our hearts burn within us?”

We also draw a powerful parallel to the Artemis space missions: just as the most dangerous part of the journey is re-entry into Earth, the most vulnerable moment for the disciples was re-entry into life after the resurrection. And it’s often the same for us.

This episode is a reminder that even when you can’t see Him, Jesus is closer than you think—walking with you, pursuing you, and revealing Himself right in the middle of your uncertainty.

This is a great week to meditate and do some inner evaluations of our soul and of the spirit of God, and the acts and words of Jesus.
