Psalms 140, verse 13, says “Surely the righteous shall give thanks to Your name. The upright shall dwell in Your presence.”

You know, this Thanksgiving, I plan to put up a Christmas tree. I’m thankful for Jesus Christ. I’m thankful for my little grandson who wants to do it, and loves to do things with his papa. I’m thankful for the songs that he and I will sing together. I’m thankful for the dozen or so people who will join us that day for dinner. I’m thankful that we will all pray together. I’m thankful that it all began 38 years ago, with a simple prayer from my heart, “Lord if you are real, I wouldn’t mind knowing who you are.” I’m so thankful today that He answered my prayer. I’m so thankful that I can talk to Him and He still answers in even more profound ways than I’ve ever believed.
