Acts 7 presents Stephen's defense before the Sanhedrin. In this first half of our two-part study of Stephen's defense, we begin following his argument's four stages in Hebrew history. His argument also subtly dismantles the religious pride of his audience by showing that Israel's patriarchs were flawed while presenting God's deliverance through Jesus in some well-known Christ-figures.
