The reason why the scriptures are do adamant about saving sexual intimacy for marriage, is because it is God's design and desire for our deepest joy to experience the deep pleasures of relational, emotional and spiritual intimacy that leads to a deep sexual intimacy that if and when climax is achieved, the ecstatic depletion never goes below the depth of emotional, relational and spiritual intimacy.
