Most galleries, on reaching their first decade, would celebrate unreservedly. Not so Umer Butt. He has just unveiled a contemplative and introspective event entitled Loser's Club that articulates, through a process of erasing and subverting the gallery space and acting on numerous conversations with colleagues, artists, peers and visitors, what it means to have reached this milestone and what the future holds in store.
