The children of Israel had gotten to the point that they were practicing evil in the sight of the Lord so he delivered them into the hand of the Midianites for seven years. After the seven years, the children of Israel repented so the Lord sent a Word to Gideon calling him a mighty man of valor and that the Lord was with him. He also guaranteed him a victory over the Midianites as one man which tells us that the Lord was going to fight this battle through Gideon and the children of Israel. Pastor Dobbs will be looking at the journey of Gideon from hiding in caves in the mountain to the Lord coming and proclaiming to him a guaranteed victory. When we are faced with odds that are against us, it is reassuring that the Lord guarantees victory
