In this Healthed lecture, Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, Prof Baber will explain how to assess patients for suitability, understand their treatment goals, recognise and deal with any relative and absolute contraindications. He will also describe when and how to use the various formulations of estrogen currently available, when to use estrogen combined or alone, and why not all progestins are the same.
Prof Baber will also present various clinical scenarios such as post hysterectomy, perimenopause, premature menopause, as well as how to manage MHT in older women and women still in need of contraception.
