"Special People"

There are some people who I will classify as "special people" and Cindy is one of them. She is a beautiful person that doesn't focus on her misfortunes, but on God, his will, and his plan for her on this Earth. We all have a journey to achieve on this Earth, and as we journey down the path of life, we leave numerous marks along the way. Cindy has made a spiritual difference in my life and I am sure the lives of many of the people that she comes in contact with. After reading this book, you realize, how in an instant your own life can change, and that by putting your trust 100% into the Lord, all things are possible. Cindy is a remarkable woman, and a very talented writer. Thank you Cindy for sharing a part of you with me.

Inspriational True Story of a Heart Transplant Survivor's Journey

Cindy Scinto was a healthy, young woman when she had her first heart attack in her 40s. What happened during the next 7 years took over two pages just to list in her book.

Multiple heart surgeries and procedures, a dramatic, near-death experience, and a heart transplant would have caused most people to give up and give in to chronic illness. Yet over and over again, Cindy chooses to turn to God for help and finds spiritual meaning in all that she has gone through. Through each new trial, you will find yourself amazed at her endurance, hope and humor as her faith in the Lord never lets her down. I was always rooting for her as she faced yet another crisis and came through "the fire" with greater faith and stronger hope.

Cindy is clearly learning to love the new life she has, the "new normal" instead of crawling into a permanent pity party.

I had the opportunity to meet author/speaker Cindy Scinto after one of her speaking engagements (she's very engaging and funny!) I was glad she told me about this audio book. I love the way she writes, and when she reads her own words it's as if she is right there in the room with you. Her struggles are unprecedented and her book is motivating.
