A Heart That Welcomes God’s Peace
In this reflection, Fr. Luke Mary Fletcher, CFR, looks at Jesus weeping over Jerusalem—His sorrow not from anger, but from love. Fr. Luke explains how the people’s expectations of a military Messiah blinded them from seeing the One who came to bring true peace. He shows how Jesus’ prophecy was not fatalistic, but a call to conversion—just like the Blessed Mother’s words at Fatima.
He invites us to see how God protects us more than we realize, and how our choices—good or sinful—bear real fruit in the world. As we near the end of the liturgical year, we are reminded to pray, convert our hearts, and welcome the peace the Lord longs to give.
