Michelle Evans is a Canadian business leader, writer, two-time black belt
martial artist, and a widowed mother of two. Her professional career
spans over twenty years, including sales and marketing, entrepreneurship,
recreation management, and personal development coaching. With multiple
international medals to her credit, Michelle was named top female veteran
competitor at the ITF Union Open World TaeKwon-Do Championships
in Sardinia, Italy, in 2019, medaling in four events at the age of forty-four.
With an insatiable appetite for adventure and a love of the outdoors,
Michelle enjoys travel, scuba diving, paddleboarding, hiking,
snowboarding, camping, boating, and riding motorcycles. During
the pandemic, she moved with her kids and her partner to Panama,
where she spent eighteen months getting inspiration from barefoot
beach walks in the mornings and taking in the rich, tropical air.
A relentless advocate for personal and professional excellence, Michelle
now leads a team of over thirty coaches at a ninja gym in Calgary,
Alberta, where she gets to share her passion for sport and movement
while helping to raise up the next generation of young leaders.
