When we give “glory” to God we are expressing a “high opinion” of God. He is worthy. The glory of God is exhibited throughout the Old and New Testament.

The first commandment instructs us to “have no other gods before the one true God”. We are to reflect that high opinion of God in the way that we conduct ourselves in the local church.

These verses indicate that others think more highly of our Lord when we act like believers should act. So let’s do that.

Let the local church focus on these things.
