Health-ISAC and the American Hospital Association (AHA) have issued an advisory to raise awareness of the potential cascading impacts of cyberattacks on healthcare suppliers and the importance of mitigating single points of failure in supply chains. Recent ransomware attacks on OneBlood, Synnovis, and Octapharma by Russian cybercrime gangs have caused significant disruptions to patient care, emphasizing the need for healthcare organizations to incorporate mission-critical third-party suppliers into their risk and emergency management plans.
