He graduated from Boston U, School of Medicine medical school in 1998. He is affiliated with medical facilities Houston Methodist Hospital and Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital.
This week’s Healthcare Hacks and Connection, Nathan Navas and Andy Chan will talk about the key to understanding the difference between western and eastern culture in medicine and how people can be educated better to stand out by commercializing themselves in the business industry.

- You must choose a small part in which to improve and believe in the concept of aggregation of marginal gains, in which you only work on small things here and there.
- A mentor is important and critical to your career and personal development
- A mentor does not have to be a specific person; it can be anyone who can give you advice. Even if that advice is bad, it is showing you what to avoid.
- If everybody starts to become a listener, we will all advance in ways that people have not previously imagined, in ways that are out of this world
- If you are a better listener, you will build a connection with your client. Once the trust is there, they will listen to you.
- The most powerful marketing tool is word of mouth
Hack: If you want to be great one day, you have to start commercializing what you do in the sense that you have to think of yourself as a brand and a business
