Pastor Justin Hansen starts our Christmas series, Advent. In Isaiah 9:2-7, the hope of Advent is found in the promise of a Messiah who will bring light to the darkness, establish justice, and reign as the Prince of Peace. This child, called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace, will fulfill God's promise of salvation and eternal peace. Advent reminds us that Jesus is the fulfillment of this prophecy, and our hope is in His first coming and the future establishment of His eternal kingdom.
