It is the man that is supposed to build and establish the foundation of the family though his relationship with God. If the house doesn't start with the man building it, then it is built in vain. The bible calls this man foolish. A man is labeled foolish not by his intelligence, profession, or bank account, but because of how he builds. If a man is building his house on sand instead of the solid rock of Christ him and his family are susceptible to a great fall. We can see this in our world today as houses collapse in divorce, children are ungodly, or there's division in the home. All because the man chose to build on sand. Take heed to how you build!
