2 Samuel 14-15 show the continuing damage inside David’s family after the sin, silence, and revenge of chapter 13. In 2 Samuel 14, Absalom is brought back to Jerusalem, but the family is not truly healed. In 2 Samuel 15, Absalom turns bitterness into rebellion and steals the hearts of the people.

The simple truth is this:

Unresolved sin does not disappear; it grows into deeper division. A family, church, or nation can look stable on the outside while rebellion is quietly forming underneath.
