Raised in Pontiac, Michigan, Se’Fana was exposed to both street life and the world of education and success. Feeling torn between these two worlds, she ended up choosing the streets and got involved in drug dealing, and eventually robbed a bank. However, her time in prison became a turning point in her life as she found her faith and purpose.

Se’Fana emphasizes the importance of embracing one's identity and not being defined by past mistakes. She also discusses the challenges she faced as a single mother and the importance of partnering with the Holy Spirit in parenting.
