What was ot like for the disciples to experience the burial of their closest friend, the source of their hope, the anchor of their faith? The tomb is a place of silence and darkness, and that’s what it might have felt like for the disciples not to have Jesus close by— silence and defeat. In lif,e we face such moments as well— of silence and defeat. But we need to remember that God always works even in the silence.
