My favorite styles of dub techno have particular moods I’ve come to refer to as either sunrise, sunset, dub, techno, or ambient. I remember my first time hearing dub techno for the first time. It was a crisp fall morning and I laid on the beach hearing the waves crash, watching the fog-veiled sun rise slowly over the horizon. My weary head rested on a wind swept log. I was tired from dancing all night long. As I laid watching the sun rise, dub techno played in the background welcoming to the new day.
