Revelation chapter 6 describes a series of dramatic events that unfold as Jesus, depicted as a Lamb, opens the first six of seven seals on a scroll. Each opened seal brings forth a new judgment or event upon the earth. The first four seals introduce the famous "Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse": a white horse (representing conquest or a deceptive peace), a red horse (symbolizing war and bloodshed), a black horse (indicating famine and scarcity), and a pale horse (bringing widespread death and plague). The fifth seal reveals the souls of martyrs crying out for justice, showing that even in suffering, God remembers His faithful. Finally, the sixth seal ushers in massive natural disasters, including a great earthquake, the sun turning dark, the moon turning blood-red, and stars falling, causing immense fear and leading people to try and hide from God's overwhelming judgment
