This week, we’re going short and… depressing for you all. We hope that that is what you were expecting, since We Are the Worst.

Maggie found one of the worst stories she could and will be discussing the Oakland County Child Killer, or OCCK for short. This is a real bummer, friends, because the OCCK murdered at least four children, but it is believed that he may have been responsible for the deaths of at least four additional kids in the Oakland County, Michigan area. The case has never been solved, although there were several promising suspects at the time.

As a palette cleanser, if you’ll allow us such a term, Dreia has researched the Japanese legend of The Shirime. The legend tells the story of a faceless man that really loves to show you his butt that also happens to be where he has one eye. It’s like that scene from that one movie, except instead of being scary, it’s just really weird and hysterical.
