In this sermon we consider 2 Samuel 8:1-18. In the passage we're told about King David's many victories and how, "And the Lord gave victory to David wherever he went." King David reigned over all Israel and administered justice and equity to all his people. In this way, the Kingdom of Jesus is foreshadowed. King Jesus, the perfect and eternal king, reigns over a kingdom of justice and righteousness.
