Luke 7 helps us understand the type of love that Jesus welcomes and deserves. As we witness Jesus entertain a Pharisee and his disciples  over a meal, an unexpected guest arrives: a woman in need of forgiveness. Instead of turning her away, Jesus welcomes her extravagant devotion and uses this moment to teach his disciples about genuine love and worship.
