Very Sweet Story about Adapting in a Different Culture

I started with the first and continued on to the trilogy. Reading books about immigrants coming to this country and then following a few of the generations is one of my favorites. There were many plots in this trilogy and it all came together in the third book. Wonderful and satisfying book and it was so interesting in the fact that they fit into their roles beautifully. By the time I finished the third book of An Irish Sage Book 3. I felt that the characters were my friends. Maybe it was because I am a first generation Irish American and I could identify with so many "happenings" in the book. I would recommend this to anyone to likes to read about different ethnic groups and why they decided to come to the US and how well they adapted.

I recommend that you start with the first book of the trilogy.

Secrets

A Legacy of Secrets - Book 4 - I enjoyed every one of the books in the series of 'An Irish Family Saga'. I love to read about people's lives in the 1800's, this was an excellent adventure . I would recommend this series to everyone. These books started with the 'Potato Famine' in Ireland to the 1900's, there was sadness, happiness, adventure, mystery, hardships, love, families, friends, and secrets it was all there to absorb.

'A Legacy of Secrets' is an awesome, unforgetable book. This book brought everything together. Every family has secrets, every person in each family has secrets, secrets are not to be shared. Although we were allowed to take a peep in this novel and see some secrets. These four book were so, so, so very good. Thanks Jean Reinhardt for sharing with the world.

Amazing Irish History

excellent book/ series. the series tells the story of several generations of a family surveying life in Ireland. Potato famine to moving to America to find a better life this series has it all. Based on the authors family history makes it even better. Be prepared, from page 1 of book one thru the last page of book 5 you will not want to put them down when you start reading them and will eagerly wait for the release of book 6. you cannot miss on this or any of the books in the series.

Looking forward to more in this series....

As other reviewers have said there is some confusion and typos - which are not unexpected....and other than having difficulty "tracking" who is being spoken about (my issue more than the author's because of my attention span and short term memory issues!) I was sad when I completed the full series. I wanted more. But for me this is an escape....not a learning experience...

Most Wonderful

This is the fourth grand tale of An Irish Family Saga. The hard part is waiting for Book Five. I have just now finished reading the story, and I feel as though my own family have left for America.
