It’s interesting how everyone says that they are searching for opportunities but very few are actually prepared to leverage the opportunities that they receive. On the one hand, we are pushed to get around the names that can take you places and on the other we are taught to hustle our way to the top.
Honestly, what does it look like to leverage an opportunity? You are standing at an open door to a magical room that can change everything in a positive way or a negative.
Don’t choke!
When it comes to leveraging opportunities there are three things that stand out.
1. Your Yes vs. Your No
2. Your Wisdom vs. Your Knowledge
3. Your Consistency
These are some of the valuable things that can add or subtract from your opportunity. As the quite one in the room I have often found myself immersed into some great conversations. I didn’t have to say much because the quality of what I said mattered.
