In this episode we discuss the benefits of letter writing. While many probably first consider the impact on the person receiving the letter, we explore the benefits for those engaged in the act of writing the letter. We share our personal stories about letter writing but also call on Dr. Vincent Corbo, Associate Professor of Psychology at Southern New Hampshire University, to gather bigger than you know insights on the topic.
Dr. Corbo received his Ph.D. in Neuroscience from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. His research interests focus on stress among healthy populations as well as individuals with PTSD. He has done postdoctoral work for the Translational Research Center for Traumatic Brain Injury and Stress Disorders (TRACTS) for Veteran Affairs in Boston. Additionally he is a fountain pen fan and collector, and co-hosts a podcast called "A Dark Impression".
