So many of us have lived by this cliche, in work, in relationships, and in life. We contract, dim our light and then tell ourselves that this is better than if we walked away. The truth is we don't want to experience the pain, change and loss that would ensue after making a life defining choice. However, the ambiguity becomes toxic and slowly erodes your soul. Living life by the one foot in and one foot out concept is truly a death sentence. You will never know what is possible if you spend your life just circling the edge. Yes leaping is scary but dying a slow painful emotional death is far more painful.
