Over the years, my ability to collect better quality vinyl records and also better software for a quieter end product have contributed to a better sounding show. However every once in a while I come across a record that is in pretty rough shape or I use a recording from early on in my ripping routine that has that hiss and pop that just gives away it is direct from vinyl. I like the sound once in a while and sometimes the subject is so good it can’t be passed up.
