For today’s episode I sit down with the very successful & very driven Eamon Eastwood. 

Eamon is the founder of Taste of Ireland here in Australia. 

Originally from Cookstown, Co Tyrone. It all started when Eamon arrived as a backpacker for the Olympic Games in Sydney. 

He noticed a gap in the market here with all the Irish people but no Irish produce. 

So in 2002, Eamon cheekily raffled off a bag of Tayto’s at a fundraiser for $25. 

Fast forward on right through to 2020, Taste of Ireland is now the largest distributor of nostalgic European food brands in the Southern Hemisphere. 

Coming away from my chat with the very successful CEO, I laughed at thinking it all started with a packet of Tayto’s.

There’s a big msg for us all in Eamon’s story & it’s that if you put your heart & soul into your dream then that dream is going to become a reality.
