A sanctuary is a holy place set apart for the purpose of worship. Is a church a sanctuary? When we think of the word church, we often think of a building. What does God call a church?

"Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and THE CHURCH WHICH IS IN HIS HOUSE." Colossians 4:15

God calls everyone who has accepted Christ “the church." So, the church refers to people, not a building. YOU are God's sanctuary Christian! What a glorious truth!
