In what coaches are calling a “tremendously successful” season, the Box Elder High School girls tennis team claimed the Region 5 championship— the school’s first in more than 50 years—and had a strong showing at the Utah 5A State Tournament. At the start of the region tournament, Box Elder trailed both Bonneville and Fremont, but not even a five-hour delay and rainy, cool conditions could stop the Bees, led by seniors Millie Brown and Megan Hansen.
