The Falcons (7-10 in 2022) are set to host quarterback Bryce Young and the Carolina Panthers (7-10) at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Young, who won the Heisman Trophy after his sophomore season at Alabama, was the No. 1 overall player selected in the 2023 NFL Draft. The Panthers also added running back Miles Sanders and veteran wide receiver Adam Thielen over the offseason. The Panthers are switching to a 3-4 defense, which is built around inside linebacker Shaq Thompson. However, linebacker Brian Burns was holding out earlier in the week and his status is up in the air.
