Most people are familiar with THC, the cannabinoid responsible for that classic cannabis high, and CBD, known for its calming, non-intoxicating effects. But cannabis produces a wide range of other cannabinoids, often in much smaller amounts—hence the term ‘minor cannabinoids.’
Although these compounds exist in trace amounts, researchers are discovering that they may have significant therapeutic potential. Some could even work synergistically with THC and CBD to create what’s called the ‘entourage effect,’ where the plant’s compounds enhance each other’s effects. Today, we’re covering five fascinating minor cannabinoids: CBG, CBN, CBC, THCV, and Delta-8 THC.
