A Look Back at Parenting in 2020: A Year With No Downside - #88

Ah 2020, it's almost as if you were the year that Y2K should've been. Most years we optimistically look forward to new adventures in the coming year. This year it's like we're clawing our way out of the sewer happy to find we've made it to the inside to toilet.  While kids had 3000% more screentime it's us parents that had 3000% more stress, as we balanced our jobs (if we were still lucky enough to have one) and our kids entire eduction (WHAT'S THE DAMN PASSWORD!!?). In an amazing twist of irony there were also some good things that came out of 2020.  There where "highs & lows," as some people would put it, but not Mike though, he likes the phrase "Peaks & Pits" which is horrible.
