The boys read an article from Jiu Jitsu Times where a black belt looks back at all the mistakes he made as a white belt and what he could’ve done differently to make his progress even faster.

We look back and remember how we felt when we were noobs given the same advice. It’s always easy to look at beginners and get frustrated at them, when in reality we were the same or probably worse.

Paulie wonders if he’d have a shorter learning curve if he’d had enough time between breaks to implement the same advice given to him that the article suggests.

After they beat the crap out of the article and give some of their shortsighted yet fatherly advice they talk a bit about Jamahal’s UFC win over the weekend as well as what it’s like training with him.

Of course we hope everyone gets back to training both soon and safely. Much love to everyone!
