As the book of Numbers draws to a close, Numbers 33 & 34 comprise a beautiful little moment of pause. The Bible calls those moments of pause, “Selah.” Numbers 33 takes a look back to where the children of Israel had been. Numbers 34 will take a look ahead to where the children of Israel are going. As we join them in their reflection on the journey, we will find ourselves being encouraged to look back on our own life so that we too can understand where we have been in order to continue forward in Christ.
