It's easy with all the problems and difficulties of life to forget that at the heart of reality is the One who loves us with a profound, unending and unchangeable love.   

To Peter, struggling with deep disappointment, Jesus asked him, "Do you love me more than these?".  The response that Jesus teased from his heart truly set him free to discover the burning, inextinguishable love of God at the centre of the universe, both for himself and the world.
