Further, love is to regulate our relationships with others. Most of us fail at this; repeatedly. The unregenerate human heart is a place of hostility, not love. It is only as we rely on Christ, and submit to His Spirit that He will slowly transform us into the likeness of Christ - the One who loved supremely.
