A Meditation for Body Awareness

In this episode I share my thoughts about meditation and my belief that there really are no “rules” around how to meditate. This includes the idea that you can’t meditate with distractions around you, which is why I recorded this episode outside on my patio with my dogs. Life is distracting, and that’s real.

This meditation focuses on body awareness as we bring the breath from the feet up through the body to the top of the head. As humans we tend to spend a lot of time in our heads, focusing on a running monologue of what we perceive is happening in our lives. A healthy response to this is to connect with the body. Your body is wise and knows what you need. Let’s tune in as we meditate together.
