Recently on podcast episode I heard someone describe their upbringing in seven-day Adventism growing up in a cult. I had never heard this and I see Adventist churches everywhere so I do in to see what I think and if it’s a cult. I hope you enjoy the episode.

I love rodeos! I’m so excited to go to rodeos this summer, and wanted to learn the history behind the sport. I heard a tale that each cowboy would bring a section of fence to set up the ring during the very first rodeos, but turns out I couldn’t find that anywhere online lol. So today we’re gonna cover the true history of rodeos and the blend of cultures that made them what they are today. Enjoy!

I became fascinated by the dust fall when I read the book The Four Winds by Kristen Hannah. It outlined a family, who had to leave their farm in Texas and move to California to try to find work. I am so amazed that people were able to live through this time and what it took for them to survive, so I decided to deep dive the dust and figure out what really happened during this time period.
