Eartha led a mindfulness session on adapting to seasonal changes and the importance of hydration in colder months. Participants engaged in a calming activity of tearing construction paper to create flowers, which promoted fine motor skills and helped release frustrations. Scented glue sticks added a sensory element, and participants reflected on their emotions throughout.
Eartha concluded the session with a mindful breathing technique called “Smell the Flower and Blow the Candle,” designed to regulate breath by focusing on inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the mouth. Participants were encouraged to observe the qualities of their breath, using it as a focal point to promote relaxation and closure.
