In this episode of the Overcomers Anonymous Podcast, I have a mini-rant for you…
Don’t worry...I'm not going to go all crazy, but there are a few things that I want to share and they are going to be very important takeaways for you. I have seen a lot of small business owners or entrepreneurs struggling to achieve their business goals because they have not built their teams. You cannot find your success without help. HELP translates to TEAM. Many of us started our businesses so we would have more time. More time with our families, more time with our spouses, more time to travel... so we would have more time. And yet, it's turned out that many of us have less time than we did corporately and we are making less money than before. Let's not forget about the stress that is building up. A huge part of all of this is you are simply trying to do too much.
That was my rant. Not too cray cray was it? (My kids would be rolling their eyes right now LOL)
I have LIVED this. I have seen so many business owners shy away from building a team and ultimately miss the level of success that was within their grasp. The level of success they deserve. I want you to be successful. I want you to have the life you had dreamed of by building your business. Building a team will enable you to reach your deserved success.
Highlights:
You are over-delivering on your promises to clients and you are under-delivering promises to yourself.
We are overachievers. We tend to burn out over and over and over again until we get the “message”.
You do not need to go from zero to 60 when building a team. You don't need to go from no team to having 20 people.
What is your “circle of brilliance''? What is that one thing that you not only excel at but also love to do? Let’s be honest, sometimes we do things that we are really good at, but we really don't want to do.
When you think about the type of support you need, what are the fires you need to put out as soon as possible? That's how I typically hire. What piece of my business is causing me the most stress in my life right now.
There is no way that I could run the business that I run without my amazing team. My team supports and enables me to focus on my “circle of brilliance”. I am here to help you build the team you need to take you to the success you deserve.
