Last week we learned of the lineage or ancestry of Christ - as far as his human father's family was concerned. Today we'll learn more about the divinity of Christ given that he was not the biological offspring of Joseph but rather the product of the Virgin Birth.--This doctrine is fundamental to the Christian faith, because without the virgin birth of Jesus, he could not be our savior, nor could he pay the price for our sins because he would have inherited the same sin nature we all have inherited from our fathers. But, as we'll learn today, God made a way for us to be saved by a sinless Messiah, Jesus Christ.
